2024-25 Registration Now Open!

Holy Spirit after-school care program is a parish program designed for students whose parents need child care beyond school hours. The program is open to students in grades Pre-K through 7 at Holy Spirit School. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to be in a safe, supervised, nurturing environment, where friendships strengthen and everyone has FUN!

All after-school staff are hired by Holy Spirit School.  They are background checked and have completed Safe Environment Training. First Aid and CPR are included in the staff training program.

After School House Location
After School Care is located in the Main School Building.  The After School Care House at 3308 Richard Ave is utilized occasionally.  Students enjoy the playgrounds, gym, and Dining Commons.  PreK students utilize the preschool classrooms when necessary.

2:30pm – 5:30 pm (We open early for scheduled early dismissals)

2024-25 Payment and Registration Information

A $60 registration fee is due at the time of registration. The registration fee is required yearly for anyone attending ASC. Registration for Drop -In also requires the registration fee. 

ASC Registration is a full year commitment. Attendance can be flexible but should be communicated to the ASC staff and the Homeroom Teacher. ASC will not be cancelled regardless of attendance.

*If you have more than one child attending Holy Spirit Afterschool Care you will see that discount applied at the completion of enrollment.

Drop-In Option
Drop-In care is for families that need emergency afterschool care or occasional care throughout the school year. To ensure proper staffing, drop-in care is not available on 1:30pm and noon dismissal days. The only form of payment for drop-in care is a check. A registration fee should be paid in advance or will be charged with the first day of use. Please complete paperwork found on our website and call ahead for space if afterschool care is not due to an emergency.

Drop In Student Fee: $38 (Drop In care is not available on early dismissal days)

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:

1. Registration will be from July 1st through July 31st. After the deadline, you will be placed on a wait list and notified if a space becomes available. Registration fees increase to $75 after the deadline.

2. Payments are collected from August 15 – April 15.

3. We have 9 built-in “snow” days.  If school is out more than the allotted unscheduled snow days, your fee will be adjusted.

ASC is CLOSED TO ALL STUDENTS on the following dates:

• Salt & Light Reception - September 11  

• Fish Fry Days - March 14 & March 21

• Conference Days - October 10 & February 13

ASC is CLOSED TO PRESCHOOL STUDENT ONLY on the following dates:

• Wednesday, October 9 -This is a 1:30 dismissal and conferences will begin after school. 

• Wednesday, February 12 - This is a 1:30 dismissal and conferences will begin after school. 

After school care will be OPEN on most 1:30pm and noon dismissal days (Not available for drop in). See dates below:

CANCELLATION POLICY

ASC is a Full Year Commitment unless you have a life changing event, ie: job loss, change schools, etc. Please call Angie for assistance.
