Kentucky Youth Assembly

The Kentucky Youth Assembly (KYA) is a 3-day immersive educational opportunity in which middle school students serve as part of a model state government.

Kentucky United Nations Assembly

Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) is a 3-day conference in which middle school students participate directly in simulated international diplomacy.

Quick Recall

Quick Recall is an academic quiz bowl competition featuring 2 halves of tossup and bonus questions.

Governor’s Cup

Governor's Cup encourages depth and breadth of academic knowledge, cultural literacy, teamwork, leadership, creativity, risk assessment, and critical thinking, and provides the fun that comes with being part of a team. Students advance through district, regional, and state competitions

Robotics

The Holy Spirit Robotics team is open to students in grades 4-8 with weekly meetings after school. Students collaborate with their team to design, build, and program their robot for different competitions. We offer robotics competitions using VEX IQ, LEGO, and Sphero. Choir

Choir meets in the morning for practice and performs during Mass and special events.

Safety Patrol

Participates of Safety Patrol assist teachers with carpool to ensure the safe arrival of students.

Chess Club

Students meet weekly after school to learn and play the game of chess. Opportunities for competition are available.

Student Council

Student Council

The student council helps share ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school administration. It also help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events, community projects, helping those in need.

Broadcast Club

Students prepare and present morning announcements to the school each day.

Alter Servers

Alter servers assist the priest during morning Mass.

ATHLETICS

The mission of the Holy Spirit Athletic program is to provide every child who attends the school or belongs to the parish community the opportunity to participate in Christian-based competition to promote physical and spiritual growth and development, good sportsmanship and respect for others.
