What is a PLC?

PLC is a professional learning community is a group of educators working to review student work to determine instruction.

4 critical questions for PLCs:

  1. What do we want students to know?
  2. How will we know when they learn it?
  3. What will we do for those who did not learn it?
  4. What we will do for those who have?

How will this look in the classroom and what does it mean for our school?

  • Once a month, there will be an early dismissal for teacher professional development.
